JEMS (Joint European Magnetic Symposia) is the most important and comprehensive conference on magnetism organized in Europe, under the auspices of the European Magnetism Association. JEMS focuses on a broad range of topics embracing both fundamental and applicative aspects of magnetism, as well as novel magnetic materials. JEMS2023 will be held in hybrid format from 27th Aug – 1st Sep 2023 in Madrid, Spain.
The European School on Magnetism is a cornerstone higher-education event worldwide, organized yearly in Europe under the umbrella of the European Magnetism Association. ESM 2023 will be held from 3 to 15 Sep 2023, in mixed format, both onsite in Madrid, Spain, and online or local hubs at a few major places in Europe. The topic is Nanomagnetism for emerging technologies. Activities consist of lectures (36h), question sessions (6h), practicals and tutorials (14h), team work (4h), access to a Library on Magnetism.

We are pleased to inform, that the organizers of JEMS2022 have decided to open the late abstracts submission procedure. The accepted contribution will be predominantly presented as posters, however eight most outstanding ones will comprise a "latest news" oral session to be held on early afternoon on Friday 29 July 2022. Late abstracts are welcome until 16 June 2022 (23:59 CET - Central European Time). Sharp!

We are pleased to inform, that abstracts submitted to JEMS2022 Conference have already been evaluated. All of the authors should have received an abstract acceptance letter by now. The correspondence is a system notification, therefore please check your SPAM / JUNK folder shall you not have this e-mail in your inbox.

The JEMS2022 has been made aware of service providers of the name ehotelservices.org, which have contacted a number of participants, citing the Conference, to offer hotel reservation services.
Please note ehotelservices.org do not represent the JEMS2022 Organizers nor JEMS2022 Organizers have authorised them to use their names or trademarks on information they send out to participants.
EMA and organizers of JEMS2022 have decided that the participation of persons with affiliation in the Russian Federation or in Belarus will not be considered, both on-site and online. EMA and JEMS2022 organizers will promote programmes to provide specific support to participants from Ukraine.
Due to the unforeseen global political situation the Organizers have decided to postpone the deadline for abstract submission for 2 weeks, that is until 18 March 2022.
It is clear to us that your decision whether to participate in the JEMS2022 Conference may not be obvious at the moment. Since we are aware that some of you wonder whether to submit an abstract, we want to confirm that we intend to move forward according to our schedule. Accordingly, we encourage you to submit your abstract as there is still time to make a final decision about the form of your participation (virtual or personal) before the regular registration deadline set for 30 June 2022. (The “early bird” registration deadline is 20 May 2022).
The organizers of JEMS2022 have decided to allow on-line participants from Ukrainian institutions to register for the conference free of charge. Simultaneously, we undertake efforts to raise funds to cover conference fees for a certain number of colleagues from Ukraine who will be willing and able to attend JEMS 2022 in Warsaw.
